What We Do

The Global Outreach Network exists to convene global outreach leaders of North American churches to share, learn, network, and grow. It’s an opportunity for you and your peers to think deeply about strategic and tactical missions issues in an ever-changing world.

We are passionate about uniting the North American Church to be more effective in global missions. This network is exclusive to church mission leaders.

There is no obligation or commitment to participate other than to engage with an amazing community of globally-minded leaders.

It is a unique opportunity to cross-pollinate with other like-minded church leaders from across the US and Canada. Each month we host a one-hour video call to discuss issues that are important to you. We host an in-person gathering 1-2 times each year.

The 410 Global Outreach Network is a ministry offering of 410 Bridge. These gatherings are not about 410 Bridge or the work we do around the world. We simply convene like-minded people and serve as a facilitator of peer-based conversations.

Meet the Team

  • Kurt Kandler

    FOUNDER / CEO

Kurt Kandler is the founder and CEO of the Global Outreach Network (GON), a growing community of global missions leaders rethinking how the North American church engages globally. With a deep passion for reshaping the conversation around missions, Kurt helps churches wrestle with the challenges and opportunities of doing global work more collaboratively, more thoughtfully, and more effectively.

He also serves as the Founder and Chairman of The 410 Bridge, a Christ-centered, community-led development organization working to break the cycle of poverty in communities across the globe. His decades of experience in both community development and global church engagement have shaped his conviction that healthy missions begin with healthy relationships and a redefined understanding of what it means to truly help.

Kurt is the author of If You Really Want To Help, a practical and challenging guide to changing the paradigm of how the West engages the poor. He and his wife, Erika, live in the Atlanta area and are proud parents of four grown (and amazing!) children and three grandchildren, with more likely on the way.

  • Chris Adams

    NETWORK ENGAGEMENT

Born in Florida, raised in Tennessee, now living in Georgia with my wonderful wife, Tiffany and our two awesome boys, Hunter & Hayden. I grew up in the church my whole life and was on staff as a pastor, but have only recently come to truly know, love and engage in mission work - and wow, was I missing a ton!

I love connecting with global missions & outreach leaders of the North American church while growing in both my faith and my contributions to the Kingdom. I have learned so much from our Global Outreach Network contributors and am excited for all God has in store as we grow together!

  • Terri Johnson

    NETWORK ENGAGEMENT

Originally from Vancouver, BC Canada, Terri immigrated to the Southeastern United States in 1998 with her husband and two children. She embarked on her first mission trip in high school, an experience that would shape her life and ignite her passion for sharing the gospel.

As part of the team, Terri is constantly inspired by the work being done through the GON. Bringing together missions leaders and pastors from around the world, the GON helps leaders collaborate and share their passions for spreading the gospel.

  • Participating in 410 Global Outreach Network events has been a refreshing and challenging experience for me. I have learned from the 410 Bridge Team as well as from other Mission leaders how to think and plan more strategically as I serve in the local church. The most amazing thing is that 410 Bridge does not use this as a way to promote their ministry!

    Pat Ragan, First Baptist

  • The 410 Global Outreach Network has been very beneficial to both me and the church. The networking has provided peers to learn from, benchmarking and assurance the issues I face in ministry are not isolated to my situation. My church has benefited from sharing ideas that enhance the way we do missions, engage our members, and provide opportunities. It is easy to become comfortable in the way we carry out missions but being a part of the network helps to challenge the status quo and keep us thinking ahead and not become complacent in the way we engage in missions.

    Tracy Tuttle, Lakepointe Church

  • The Global Outreach Network is leading the way in providing a forum for all world missions ministries to engage in safe, meaningful, and real peer-to-peer conversation. Our team was able to see we all share the same challenges both in the world and internally in our churches. The workshop approach helped us work with other church leaders to develop new solutions and steer strategic direction. The past two years have been like climbing a mountain and this forum has helped us determine our path and carry the load.
